HOW TO GET THERE
- It takes about five hours by train from Mandalay to Monywa. You can take morning train from Mandalay via Sagaing.
- There are bus services available from Mandalay, Pakokku, NyaungU and Shwe Bo. Monywa’s main bus station is located a couple of kilometres down Bogyoke Road on the town’s south side. Buy Air-con Minibuses tickets for your journey to Monywa.
- You can take150 kilometer trip from Bagan to Monywa by car or taxi.
