Day 1: EXPLORE MANDALAY
Mandalay has much to offer to tourists across the world and this is your day to enjoy the same. Venture out for a round of sightseeing around the city. Visit Mahamuni Buddha Temple, Shwe In Bin Kyaung monastery and the Mandalay Palace. You will be able to visit Shwenandaw Monastery, Atumashi Kyaung Monastery as well as explore the palace. After this, head to Mandalay Hill for the sunset and visit Kuthodow Pagoda and Sandamuni Paya on the way.
DAY 2: ARRIVE AT KALAW and EXPLORE
After breakfast in the morning, you can reach Kalaw by a private taxi. Spend the day exploring the beautiful town of Kalaw. You can visit Shwe Oo Min Paya, Thein Taung Pagoda, Hnee Paya and Kalaw Railway Station. Enjoy a nice local fare for dinner and go to sleep early to prepare for the next day.
DAY 3: FULL DAY TREK AT KALAW
Leave early for a day of trekking around Kalaw. You will be accompanied by a local guide who will provide you with guidance about the route. You will pass through villages, meet with the locals and explore authentic Myanmarese culture. You will pass by lush green tea plantation and orange orchards. Stop at viewpoints to take amazing photographs. While returning, you can choose to take a longer or a shorter trail, depending on your energy level.
DAY 4: TRAVEL FROM KALAW TO BAGAN
Fly from Kalaw to Bagan in the morning and enjoy sightseeing in Bagan. You will be able to explore some of the historical monuments of Bagan. Take a balloon ride during the sunset or climb up the viewing tower to explore the scenic sunset at the backdrop of thousands of temples jutting out of the thick canopy of trees. Spend the evening by visiting the markets and shopping for some Bagan lacquer ware.
DAY 5: TREKKING AT POPA MOUNTAIN
You will spend the day hiking Mt. Popa from the Mt. Popa Mountain Resort located at an elevation of 800m. Leave Bagan early to reach Mt Popa, located one and a half hours away. Collect a map from the resort to understand trekking route. This is a common trekking route and hence, you will most probably meet other trekkers. Enjoy the climb while breathing in the amazing scenery surrounding you. After your trek, travel back to Bagan where you can rest.
DAY 6: TEMPLE TOUR OF BAGAN
A visit to Bagan is incomplete without a temple tour. Venture into the temple tour, exploring some of the prominent monuments in Bagan. Do climb up the Nan Mying Viewing Tower during sunset for an amazing view of the setting sun in the backdrop of thousands of temple jutting out of the canopy of trees.
DAY 7: TRAVEL TO YANGON AND ENJOY YANGON
On your final day, travel to Yangon and enjoy sightseeing around Yangon. Yangon is the largest city of Myanmar and therefore offers the best peek into the urban culture of the country. Visit the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most famous pagoda in Myanmar, which will take your breath away with its golden glory. You may also want to check out the floating Karaweik Palace, which reflects Myanmar’s mythical bird which is said to have a pleasant and melodious cry. DAY 1 – YANGON SIGHTSEEING
Welcome to the commercial capital of Myanmar. You will spend the day exploring the city. Yangon is the largest city of Myanmar and therefore offers the best peek into the urban culture of the country. You will visit the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most famous pagoda of Myanmar, Sule Pagoda, Botahtaung Pagoda, Tooth Relics Pagoda in the morning. If you are a wildlife lover, you can visit the Yangon Zoological Garden. We recommend walking around downtown Yangon exploring the architectural marvel of the buildings of colonial times. A visit to Bogyoke Market is a must if you want to explore the variety of local produce. End the day with a dinner of authentic Myanmarese cuisine.

DAY 3 – TRANSFER FROM BAGAN TO NAT MA TAUNG
In the morning, wake up and enjoy the breathtaking view of sunrise in Bagan. After breakfast, take a private taxi to Mt. Victoria. The journey takes slightly more than 8 hours and passes through the scenic countryside. Take as many stops as you want on the way. Enjoy an overnight stay at Nat Ma Taung.
DAY 4 – TREKKING AT NAT MA TAUNG (MT. VICTORIA)
Today, you will be trekking Mt. Victoria and enjoy the scenery of Chin State. There are innumerable possibilities of trekking the mountain. Some treks last for several days while others for a day or even half a day. They are of varying difficulties as well. Choose a trekking option that works best for you. We recommend hiring a local guide for the best experience.
DAY 5 – TRAVEL FROM NAT MA TAUNG TO BAGAN TO MANDALAY
Leave Nat Ma Taung early in the morning and reach Bagan. The journey takes 8 hours approximately. After reaching Bagan Airport, take a flight to Mandalay. Have a relaxed evening while getting ready to explore Mandalay the next day.
DAY 6 – VISIT AMRAPURA
Today in the morning, head to Amarapura to visit the attractions in and around the city. You can visit the Bagaya Monastery, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, Su Taung Pyae Monastery and Pahtodawgyi. The highlight of the day will be a walk on the longest wooden bridge in the world – the U-bein bridge. Head to the U-bein bridge in the evening for an exclusive view of the beautiful sunset. Head back to Mandalay in the evening.
DAY 7 – MANDALAY SIGHTSEEING
You will be exploring the cultural capital of Myanmar. Visit Mahamuni Buddha Temple, Shwe In Bin Kyaung monastery and the Mandalay Palace. You will be able to visit Shwenandaw Monastery, Atumashi Kyaung Monastery as well as explore the palaces. After this, head to Mandalay Hill and visit Kuthodow Pagoda and Sandamuni Paya on the way. DAY 2: FLY FROM YANGON TO PUTAO AND EXPLORE
Take a flight from Yangon to Putao. Putao is a small hilly town nestled in the lap of the Himalayas. Enjoy walking around and exploring the town. Access to some portions of Putao is not allowed. If you are a foreigner, we recommend you to ask your hotel on the places where you are allowed to enter.
DAY 3: TREKKING AT MULASHEEDEE VILLAGE
You will be trekking around Myanmar's highest peak. In the morning, take a taxi to Mulasheedee village (13 Km from Putao, 30 mins drive) and walk through the Mulasheedee rope suspension bridge. You will find a number of trekking routes. You can walk around the area for the whole day. Drive back to Putao in the evening and stay overnight at Putao.
DAY 4: TREKKING AT HTAT SAN GAUNG
After breakfast, travel to Htat San Gaung village located 22 km away from Putao. You can trek around the village while interacting with a number of tribes living in and around the village. You can stay overnight at the village and enjoy some traditional Myanmarese hospitality.
DAY 5: FLY FROM PUTAO TO MYITKYINA
First, travel to Putao by car and then fly to Myitkyina. You can proceed to a sightseeing tour after checking in to the hotel and visit Myitkyina market, Su Taung Pyi pagoda and the Reclining Buddha and Kachin Manao garden.
DAY 6: VISIT MYITSONE AND EXPLORE
Visit Myitsone, located 45km away from Myitkyina. It is the confluence of two mountain streams - Maikha and Malikha, which originate in Mt. Hkakabo Razi. These two rivers join to form the Ayeyarwady river, the heart of Myanmar. There are a lot of activities available here, such as visiting Tan Phe village to see the elephants lugging teak wood and river cruising on Maikha. You can visit Jaw Bon Tower on the way back to Myitkyina.
DAY 7: FLY FROM MYITKYINA TO YANGON
On your final day, fly from Myitkyina to Yangon. Today, you can see the museums of Yangon. Yangon is strewn with museums which provide an extensive peek into the local culture, heritage and history. Visit the Bogyoke Aung San Museum, the National Museum and the Myanmar Gems Museum. A must-do in Yangon before you head off is to definitely visit their little teashops with its large selection of teas. Spend some time sitting in these tea shops and enjoying a hot cup of tea while observing people go about their daily business. You can end your day with the mesmerising view of the sunset from Botahtaung harbour.POPA MOUNTAIN

DAY 1 – EXPLORE THE BEAUTIFUL MANDALAY
On the first day, go around the beautiful historic city of Mandalay. You can visit Mahamuni Buddha Temple, Shwe In Bin Kyaung monastery and the Mandalay Palace. You can also visit Shwenandaw Monastery and Atumashi Kyaung Monastery. In the evening, head to Mandalay Hill and visit Kuthodow Pagoda and Sandamuni Paya on the way there. Watch the mesmerising sunset from Mandalay Hill.
DAY 2: TRAVEL FROM MANDALAY TO BAGAN
Wake up early in the morning and take a ferry from Mandalay to Bagan through the Ayeryarwady river. You will be able get an amazing insight of the life of the locals living around the banks. The ride will take about 8 hours, which will be well-spent. Alternatively, if you don’t want a boat ride, you can fly from Mandalay to Bagan and spend the day exploring temples at Bagan.
DAY 3 – TREKKING AT POPA MOUNTAIN
Head to Mt. Popa and enjoy hiking there. The hike will start from the Mt. Popa Mountain Resort located at an elevation of 800 metres. Leave Bagan early in the morning to reach Mt Popa, located one and a half hours away. Collect a map from the resort to understand the route for trekking. This is a common trekking route and hence you will most probably meet fellow trekkers. Enjoy the climb up and down while breathing in the amazing scenery surrounding you. There is a monastery on top of Mt. Popa which you should visit before you start your journey backwards. After your trek, travel back to Bagan where you can retire for the day.
DAY 4 – TEMPLE TOUR OF BAGAN
A visit to Bagan is incomplete without a temple tour of Bagan. Today, venture into the temple tour exploring some of the prominent monuments in Bagan. Do climb up the Nan Myint Viewing Tower during sunset for an amazing view of the setting sun in the backdrop of thousands of temples jutting out of the canopy of trees. If you want an added oomph to your trip, take a ride on a hot air balloon.
